IS YOUR "ME TIME" REALLY YOURS?

Image
Yes, we are meeting after a very long time!  I was giving myself a "ME TIME", haha!! that's what we all say right. But have you ever thought that is your "me time" really yours, or you are just forcing yourself to be with you? just because you were said it will make you happy. Isn't it a toxic relationship? We all are told by some or the other experts to give ourselves time, spend some time with ourselves. And we think that during this time we will do something just for ourselves. And in this process, we land up being selfish at times. Alright, I will give you a real-time example of what happened with me. Being a Prenatal and postnatal coach I was taking counseling for a 2-month newborn mom. As usual, she was facing postpartum sleep struggles, and I being the 'same' medical expert advised her to take "ME TIME" telling her it will help her relax better. A week later, we had a session and I asked her what did she do in her "me time"...

EGGLESS BHURJI

Ever heard about eggless omelet, eggless cakes, eggless muffins? Mr. Santosh Gangal bought eggless burji in the league too. As I had promised to feature the best creative recipe in my blog. I would really like to thank Mr.Gangal for supporting us and motivating us with his good thoughts and a healthy recipe. He stole my heart by attaching some delicious photos with the recipe in the email and shared his mantra to stay fit.

The image was so appealing that I couldn't resist myself but make it asap. Ran to grocery shop (literally, risking myself), and started preparing it for dinner.

ALL YOU NEED IN YOUR KITCHEN :-

➤Boiled Black Gram                                          1 bowl
➤Soyabean cubes                                                1 bowl
➤onions(finely chopped)                                     2 bowl
➤ginger                                                                1 small piece
➤garlic                                                                 3-4 pods
➤chilly                                                                 1-2
➤oil                                                                      2 tbsp
➤turmeric powder                                                1 tbsp
➤chilly powder                                                     1 tbsp
➤garam masala                                                     3/4 tbsp
➤cumin seed                                                         1/2 tbsp
➤salt                                                                      As required
➤coriander                                                             For garnishing

SO, now you have all of it. These are very basic ingredients, easily found in our kitchen.
Tie your cooking aprons tight and get ready to make something magical. It is so more when it is less.

I would recite to you very easy directions :-
1. Soak the soybean cubes (10-15)
2. Squeeze the water from soya cubes, grrrrr.... GRIND IT!  keep aside
3. Grind the boiled gram separately. Keep aside.
4. Make a paste of ginger, garlic and chilly
5. Heat the pan . ADD  cumin seeds . ADD the ginger, garlic, chilly paste
6. ADD onions. Saute till it turns pinkish
7. ADD the grinded soya cubes and boiled gram . COOK for at least 2-3 min
8. ADD the powder mixture. ADD salt .  Cover the lid and COOK for 5 min at least
9. STIR at interval to avoid sticking at base
10. SERVE hot in a bowl with a coriander garnishing

TADDAANN!!!  10 simple steps and you have hot eggless burji at your table. I would suggest you to have it for a breakfast as it contains lots of protein and can be heavy for a dinner meal.
Once again, I would love to thank Mr. Santosh Gangal sir for this creative healthy recipe.

THANKSGIVING
